About Shane Madere

Born and raised in Dutchtown, LA (just outside of Baton Rouge), I picked up the Trombone in school band at age 11… and hated it for two solid years. Then, at 13, something finally clicked and that was it. Music had me.

From there, I went full throttle: taught myself piano, grabbed a guitar at 18, and, plot twist - started singing at 19. No tomatoes thrown yet, so I must be doing something right.

After graduating from the LSU School of Music in ’08, I swapped the concert hall for rock & pop stages, and I’ve felt at home ever since.

My mission is to make people feel the music. It’s been my therapy, my lifeline, and the soundtrack to some of my best memories. Whether it’s covers, originals (coming soon!), or just jamming together, I want to share that spark with y’all.

P.S. If you ever want to find me after a gig, check Waffle House. It’s tradition.
